The KSC Sanctuary is open each Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm for open meditation. Come meditate in your own way in this sacred space. All are welcome.
Each Thursday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. In this practice, we rest our attention on a simple meditative support, such as the breath. In-person and via Zoom. All are welcome.

Part of a unique film trilogy known as Women of Tibet produced by Frame of Mind Films, Women of Tibet: Gyalyum Chemo – The Great Mother is an inspired hour-long journey into the spiritual force of motherhood. The storytellers provide a universal link to an ancient philosophy that continues to have a profound impact on today’s world.
All are welcome to join in simple, serene community meditation for peace.

The library closes July - September. There is a Summer Book Sale of gently used Dharma books (by donation) going on throughout the summer in the lobby upstairs. This is open during in-person practices (see monthly calendar).
Anyone interested in Buddhist studies is welcome to borrow books and various media covering aspects of both Buddhism in general, and Tibetan Buddhism. Also, there are some selective subjects that include studies on death and dying, Buddhist art, and locally recorded teachings by Buddhist teachers.

The Dharma Kids program serves children in grades K - 6. The program provides a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about and experience the Dharma in ways suitable for children.
One Sunday each month, from 9:00 to 11:30 am.
The Lamas go on retreat for the summer, and Sunday practices will resume in October.
Join Lama Yeshe and local scholar, Dr. Paul Condon for a special Tonglen meditation of loving kindness and compassion. They will also share a teaching on this topic for this first Sunday of the KSC teaching year. All are welcome.
On Thursday, October 9th, Lama Yeshe will lead the Calm Abiding meditation. For the evening’s dharma talk, she will introduce the Foundations meditations and the supportive Joyful Effort Group, which opens to new members on Sunday, October 26th. All are welcome and no registration required.

Led by Lama Pema, this group takes Calm Abiding meditation a step further with contemplating and exploring the mind. Open to new and renewing members at the November meeting.

Prerequisites: Tranquility Group membership of 2+ years or equivalent experience, and the lama’s permission is required.

Tranquility Practice Group focuses on foundational meditation theory and practice but is open to anyone who is interested in being part of a group to help support and inspire their ongoing meditation practice, or newcomers to meditation practice.
